A big thank you to one of my blog followers who prompted me to discuss some books that I have read and or enjoyed. So I thought I would start a 'Recent Reads' blog post that I will post each month with just that... :)
Now since I have been reading far more than writing lately (which I know is soooo bad) I have a few to catch up on so here are just a couple to start with. Keep your comments coming. If you have read these books or have others to recommend.. anything! Love to hear from you all x

FALLEN CREST HIGH SERIES by Tijan Now despite me usually loving the more 'NA' fiction, these novels are set in Highschool, until you reach the latest novel in the series which moves to College. I usually don't get into books with so much drama, but for some reason this series... Had. Me. Hooked. I have said all along on my journey that a story, despite the way its written or what goes on, just has to have a hook; and for me, that is the Mason brothers. The dynamic between lovable Logan, protective Mason (swoon) and fiery Samantha - is what I can not get enough of in this series and I am definitely reading the latest book when its released next week!! |
BULLY by Penelope Douglas I began reading this book as I was desperately looking for my next Book BF to swoon over, and nothing is usually more appealing than a bad boy who is actually all tender and soft on the inside. I found this book a little different to the usual bad boy love interest, as Jared Trent used to be Tatums next door neighbour bestie, until.. well, he wasn't. He began being mean. I enjoyed the reveals behind both main characters throughout this story and found it to be a real journey of self discovery. You can also continue the journey from Jared's POV in 'Until You' as well. |
CONSOLATION and CONVICTION by Corinne Michaels So this two book series was on my book clubs list to read for our meeting this week, and I have to say, for those who are looking for a sweet male lead - you really can't get much better than Liam Dempsey. This novel was again, a bit different to the books I usually read as the main characters have a marine (seal) background. I felt Natalie's journey of loss, guilt and love throughout the story and enjoyed the progression of the story. If you have read my blog, you already know how much of a sucker I am for love :) and honestly, it is really strong in that area in this novel. |
