Anyway back to what I was heading towards... When a friend of mine found herself moving out of her house, it resulted in her needing to find a loving home for some of her pre-loved novels. Naturally I jumped at the chance, especially as it was an opportunity to combine my love of reading and decorating my home. There are some amazing book shelf ideas and inspiration available on the internet, which I have posted some of my faves below. I would love to see your ideas, so send them through!! |
Since embarking on this journey I have found myself reading way more often than ever before! I have even joked with my book club girls that I never even read this much in 3 unit English back in highschool! Now enjoying a book is rather harmless one would think, especially since I have favoured reading over watching television over the past few months. What hasn't been so harmless though, is the fact that my ocd insists I finish the book in one sitting! Perhaps I am just choosing really amazing books that one just can't put down.. (wishful thinking) but the truth is, I just have to know what happens in the story. I can't help it.

Have you read any of Nicholas Rossis' books? He's an author of sci-fiction. Before reading one of his books, 'The Power Six Plus One, I'd never read a book in this genre. I was quite surprised at my positive reaction.
